"Faith Of The Heart," sung magnificently by Russel Watson, that very cool, slightly hoarse, jazzy-bluesy tenor, ~ I LOVE+ IT!!! >>> ...With those images of the conquest of humankind toward exploration, ~ the sailing of ships on Earth's oceans, the first airplanes, jet planes, the moving out into space with the first satellites, the space capsules, the rockets, space shuttle, the astronauts. and finally, the beautiful star ship Enterprise, herself, designed by Matt Jeffries. RIGHT... EXACTLY. When Alan Sheppard, the first American into space, went up, it was broadcast nationwide, LIVE AT THAT VERY MOMENT, even into schools, from speakers into classrooms. IF ALAN SHEPPARD WOULD DIE UPON RE-ENTRY TO EARTH THE WHOLE NATION WOULD INSTANTLY KNOW IT!!!... TALK ABOUT TRANSPARENCY!!! It was very brave to go up there, because it WASN'T KNOWN whether he could be safely brought back to Earth. And, when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon it was thought it would be safe, BUT THEN, MAYBE NOT. Maybe, he would put his foot down on the surface of the moon and then, sink into hundreds of feet of moondust! WE JUST DIDN'T KNOW!!! I went to the Smithsonian, to the Museum of Aeronautics and Space, ~ GREAT PLACE!!!
